About Mara Rescue

For more than 20 years, Mara Rescue has provided sanctuary, rehabilitation, and lifelong care to animals that have been neglected, mistreated, abandoned, or simply had nowhere else to go. Their mission is to provide every animal with a safe, loving forever home and the highest quality of care throughout its natural life.

Mara Rescue receives no government funding and relies on donations, sponsors, and volunteers to continue its work. Animals receive premium organic feed, veterinary care, and specialized support as needed.

Founded by Megan Brown, whose passion for animal rescue began as a teenager after saving an abused Arabian stallion destined for slaughter, Mara Rescue has become a place of hope and second chances for animals in need. Every donation directly supports the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of the animals who call Mara Rescue home.

Fundraising Goal

Our goal is to raise $15,000 for Mara Rescue through art sales, raffle participation, and community support.

How We Are Giving Back

10% of all artwork sales made during the event will be donated directly to Mara Rescue, along with 100% of all raffle proceeds. Every ticket purchased and every artwork collected helps provide food, shelter, veterinary care, and lifelong support for the animals at Mara Rescue. Guests who would like to make an additional impact will also have the opportunity to give directly. Mara Rescue will have an information and donation table on-site throughout the evening, where guests can learn more about their programs and make direct contributions to support their work.

Raffle Ticket Information

Raffle tickets may be purchased when RSVP'ing through Eventbrite or during the event. Admission is free. The raffle is designed to maximize fundraising while reflecting the high value of the donated prizes, many valued at $250 and above.
